CRM Development in Montreal
Most small and mid-size businesses in Montreal do not need a bigger CRM. They need one that matches how they actually sell. We build custom CRM software for companies whose leads arrive from several places, whose sales process has real steps, and whose spreadsheets have stopped keeping up.
DaniMaster is a Montreal software team. We build CRMs from scratch when the process is unusual, and we configure and extend Odoo, ERPNext or HubSpot when a proven platform fits. We run Odoo 17 and ERPNext for our own brands, so we know what holds up.
What we build
Every CRM project starts with one question: build or configure? We help you answer it honestly.
- Custom CRM development. A system built around your exact pipeline, data model and permissions, in PHP or Node.js with PostgreSQL or MariaDB.
- Odoo, ERPNext and HubSpot configuration. Pipelines, stages, fields, teams and automations set up on a platform you already use or want to adopt, plus custom modules when settings are not enough.
- Lead routing. Rules that send each new lead to the right person by region, service, language or deal size.
- Sales pipelines. Stages that match how deals really move, with the reminders each stage needs.
- Integrations. Website forms, email, calendars, invoicing and accounting connected through APIs and webhooks, so data is entered once.
- Migrations. Clean imports from spreadsheets or an older CRM, with duplicates merged and history preserved.
Most clients land on a mix: a configured platform plus custom pieces where it matters.
How we work
We keep the process short and visible.
Discovery. We interview the people who sell and the people who follow up. We map every lead source, every stage and every handoff, and check how clean your data is.
Design. We draw the data model, the pipeline and the screens before writing code. For Odoo, ERPNext or HubSpot, this is where we decide what gets configured and what needs a module.
Build. Work ships in weekly increments. You test real screens with real data from the second week, not at the end.
Test. We load your actual contacts and deals into a staging copy and run the full sales process through it. Routing rules, permissions and integrations are checked one by one.
Launch. We migrate data and train your team in person or over video.
Support. A monthly plan covers fixes, small changes and updates. You can also keep the code and run it yourself.
CRM work we have shipped
We run CRMs for our own businesses, which keeps us honest about what works.
BizLocal, our Quebec and Canada business directory, lists about 49,000 businesses and receives quote requests from visitors. Each request passes through a scoring filter that classifies it as real, test or spam before anything happens. Real requests sync into Odoo CRM through its API as leads, with category, region and contact details already filled in. Sales staff work from the pipeline, and spam never reaches them.
For several brands we operate, ERPNext and Odoo 17 act as the central ledger and CRM. Sales from different websites flow into one system through API sync, tagged by brand. One place holds every customer, invoice and payment.
These systems run every day and taught us one lesson: integrations only pay off when the arriving data is clean and verified. We bring that operating experience to client CRMs in Montreal and across Canada.
What a CRM costs and how long it takes
Prices depend on scope, data quality and how many systems need connecting. Ranges in Canadian dollars:
- Platform configuration (Odoo, ERPNext or HubSpot): $4,000 to $15,000, three to six weeks. Pipelines, fields, users, basic automations and one or two integrations.
- Platform plus custom modules: $15,000 to $40,000, six to twelve weeks. Custom routing logic, portals, reporting or integrations the platform lacks.
- Fully custom CRM: $35,000 to $90,000 or more, three to six months. For processes no platform models well, or when you want to own the code outright.
- Data migration: $1,500 to $8,000 depending on volume and mess.
- Monthly support: $400 to $2,000 depending on response time and included hours.
Licensing is separate. Odoo and ERPNext community editions have no per-user licence fee. HubSpot charges per seat. We will say plainly when a low-cost subscription tool is the right answer. You get a fixed quote after discovery.
Why work with a Montreal CRM developer
A CRM holds your customers' personal information, and in Quebec that comes with obligations.
Law 25. Quebec's privacy law requires you to know what personal data you hold, why, and who can see it. A CRM we build or configure includes consent fields, retention rules, access logs and an export for access requests. We document where the data lives.
Bilingual by default. Our team works in French and English. Screens, email templates and pipeline labels can be bilingual from day one, which matters when your team in Quebec and your clients in Ontario speak different languages.
Same time zone. When a routing rule breaks on a Tuesday morning, we are awake and reachable. We meet in person when that helps.
Canadian hosting on request. We can deploy on servers located in Canada if your contracts require it.
Platform neutrality. We do not resell HubSpot, Odoo or anything else. Our build-versus-configure advice is not tied to a commission.
Who this is for
A trades or services company in Montreal gets leads from its website, Google, phone calls and two directories. Nobody knows which ones were called back. A CRM with routing and a single pipeline fixes that in weeks.
A B2B firm already uses Odoo for invoicing but runs sales in a spreadsheet. We configure Odoo CRM, connect the website forms and build the two reports the owner actually reads.
A growing agency has outgrown a free CRM tier and is quoted thousands per year for features it barely uses. We compare an Odoo or ERPNext setup against the paid plan and build whichever costs less.
A company with an unusual sales process, such as multi-step approvals or a dealer network, cannot bend any platform to fit. We build a custom CRM around the process instead.

Should we build a custom CRM or use Odoo, HubSpot or ERPNext?
Configure a platform first unless your process truly does not fit. Odoo, ERPNext and HubSpot handle contacts, pipelines and reminders well, and configuration costs a fraction of custom code. Build custom when you need unusual workflows, full code ownership or integrations a platform cannot support.
Can you connect the CRM to our website, email and accounting?
Yes, and integrations are usually the most valuable part of a CRM project. We connect website forms, email, calendars, phone systems, invoicing, Stripe and accounting software through their APIs or webhooks. Each integration is tested on staging before launch and documented so your team is not dependent on us.
How do you handle our existing data?
We review your spreadsheets or export files, identify duplicates, missing fields and inconsistent formats, and agree on cleanup rules with you. The import runs first into a staging copy so your team can check it. Only after sign-off do we load production, preserving notes, past deals and dates.
Does the CRM comply with Quebec Law 25?
We build it so you can comply: consent and purpose fields on contacts, an enforceable retention policy, access controls by role, logs of who viewed or exported data, and a way to answer access or deletion requests. We also document where data is hosted and help you write the short policy your team will follow.
